The hotel is a sprawling old building with lots of character. It's pretty well located on the main High St, with bus routes outside and the railway station a few minutes walk away. The room I was given was very generous in size, it felt more like a mini-suite with a desk and chair, plus sofa, armchair, and coffee table. Some of the hotels I've stayed in at similar prices would have chopped this space into two separate rooms, so I really appreciated having ample area for once. Bed was perfectly comfortable, and again a generous size. Also nice to have a full-sized bath as well as the shower.

It's a really quirky old building which I found particularly charming. Our room was dark oak panelled, with a very comfortable 4-poster bed, and the rest of the furniture was appropriate to the ambience. All the staff were particularly friendly and cheerful. The drinks were very reasonably priced, and the breakfast was very good. I'd booked it purely on price as all we needed was a bed for the night, but we got far more for our money than I would have expected. As long as you're not looking for some kind of super modern luxury experience, I'd really recommend it.

It's a very old building and a lot of work has clearly gone into keeping as many of the old features, so there's a lot of small doors and wonky, squeaky floors - but you would expect exactly that in any building with so much history to its name! The room was comfortable and VERY reasonably priced, staff were lovely and tried as best they could to help with the issues that arose (again, kind of to be expected in such an old place), and the location was fantastic! Definitely recommend for anyone interested in historic buildings and mildly kitch-y aesthetics.

Very clean everywhere. Lighting in the room was great and nice bathroom. The shower could do with improved pressure. Beds very comfortable. Convieniently located at the upper end of the High Street. Parking at rear, free, as long as you tell reception when checking in. *It looks old inside and some floors creek, but if you pay attention when you book, this is a very old protected building, but I found everywhere to be very clean.* I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were cosy and clean. Such a nice hotel in a tranquil location. Staff also friendly I cannot remember the breakfast times or when the bar is open till, but I know those facilities are in place. Although the rooms are at the back of the hotel, they are easily accessible from the high street. Whenever I visit Tonbridge, I know where I am staying from now on! 😀
